 ClockworkOrange+ｩ Version 1.5 - October 1997
         Optimised for Greg Landweber's Kaleidoscope 1.7.3 Control Panel, for the MacOS8.
         Will also work reasonably well with Kaleidoscope 1.5.x, and MacOS7.x, but...
         Also very good skewered and roasted over open fires.  Add pinch of salt.

 Oct 01 ... Eric Reid announces the First Official Kaleidoscope Competition, with lots of $$$ signs and
                goodies as prizes.  Spell-bound, bewitched, with lots of ideas spinning crazily without parachutes.
 Oct 04 ... Finally cannot hold breath any longer and so relaunched ResEdit, using WoodStock as template,
                but not really knowing where to go on from there.  In other words, lost.  Took a nap.
 Oct 05 ... Aha!  After many permutations of color combinations, ranging from greenpeace to funkyfuchsia,
                cicn -14332 gets its first orange hues.  Must admit 'Pumpkin Pie' had something to do with color choice.
 Oct 05 ... Nice Big Tidal Brainwave struck: christened Orange scheme ClockworkOrange.
 Oct 05 ... Enabled brickred text (MacOS8 only) on the desktop text, and icon text, and just about everywhere.
                Went crazy with the Colorize Finder Windows button. Tried Black.  !Eek!.  Tried Lavender #6699FF..
                Decided to just stick to the default.  You may disagree.
                In that case, may I also suggest setting the Highlight Color on your Appearance Manager to #FFCC66?
 Oct 06 ... Attempts to figure out how the Sound Resources stuff works lead to a fresh outbreak of rashes.
                Skipped hefty bit of tortured Ravel's Bolero, and settled for *tic* and *toc*..
 Oct 06 ... Major merger deal sealed with close button, racing stripes, resize button, and windowshade button.
 Oct 07 ... Scrollbars work very seamlessly well with Edward Voas' DoubleScroll, but  need to make
                sure it merges with Marc Moini's SmartScroll 3.0 just as flawlessly.
 Oct 07 ... Fun with Adobe Photoshop 4.0 doodling PICT resource; love the Navigator to death.
 Oct 08 ... Custom icons & folder icons added, and tweaked to give it that extra loopy Lavender binge.
                Rechristened ClockworkOrange+.
                A lite ClockworkOrange (iconless, accentless & custom soundless) should also be available very soon,
                Easier on the disk space, or if you just hate all that Lavender.
 Oct 08 ... At long last!  First KaleidoScopie scheme to incorporate Accent colors!  Swoon.
 Oct 09 ... Greg Landweber adds 10 extra Accents with Kaleidoscope 1.7.3beta.  Duh.
                Well, you too can now flip over to that cool sparkling touch of Lime.  Or Lil'Olive, or Ramblin'Rose.
 Oct 11 ... SchemeChecker 1.0.1 does not congratulate me.  It tells me that there are 80 unwanted resources;
                All the new Accents' resources.  All Greg's fault.  But there are no wrongly set bits, nor are any missing.
 Oct 11 ... Nevertheless, decided to water down a bit of the schematic cross-eyed trailings on the scrollbars,
                making it all sooo much more useable.   Disembowelled loud purple arrows.  Chic.
 Oct 12 ... Toyed with idea of amazing Ticking Tocking Clocky Desktop Pict, but file is already well and truly
                kitchen sunk, so GraphicConvertered up a troika of tiny desktop pattern clippings instead:
                Choose 3D Camouflage CO#1, not too 3D GoldFinger CO#2, or 3D FunkyRed CO#3.
                Paste, or clip the droppings of your fantasy onto your Desktop Pictures Control Panel, and voila'!
 Oct 13 ... Tinkering with fresh copy of the Designer's Studio PPC beta, CO+ is subjected to stringent quality
                control, primarily ensuring that it behaves just like Malcolm McDowell in Caligula.
                Looking awfully, awfully good at thousands and millions of colors - really;
                It looks sunsettish at 256 colors;   looks *ahem* like a time bomb in 16 colors;
                looks like er.. what? naked? in 4 colors;  works & looks like clockwork in b&w.
 Oct 15 ... SchemeChecker redeems itself with 1.0.2.
 Oct 16 ... Lots of fidgetting about, can't sleep, bad clutmares, .... I love the NightLife, and the Boogie...
 Oct 18 ... Well,  it's been a couple of weeks now, and this scheme is still pretty useable.
                Nothing mind-blowing, mind you.. but then, wait till you see the sequel!  CGI enhanced.
 Oct 19 ... Reluctantly submitted to the Evangelist @  the Official Kaleidoscope Competition,
                beating deadline by a whole lot of days, due to upcoming trip to New York City, and Charleston..
                                      .... and the Disco in Town....
 Oct 20 ... 20 seconds later, a few ic18s, ic14s and ICN#s were retouched up!  I knew it.

 Oct 28 ... Jetlagged from Newark Airport, it all gets another thrice over, with the All-New, All-Magic
                Designer's Studio 1.0 PPC gizmo.  Well, there really were a few pixels that still looked sad..
 Oct 29 ... With precious seconds ticking away on the clock and as it all seems not too lost - yet,
                OCurser1.0, a very optional extension, is unceremoniously bundled along with CO+.
                Which, of course, will be jettisoned in Lite.
 Oct 30 ... Don't Panic!

    CO+ ... wishes to acknowledge Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange as the tidalwave for this scheme.

   If by any chance you're still wondering what Kaleidoscope is, it's this mind-blowing GUI gadget that you use to
   change the way your Mac looks.  Just on-screen, not the beige sides, unless you have a Twentieth Anniversary Mac.
   Even then... ahhh... anyway, drop ClockworkOrange+ into the Kaleidoscope Color Schemes folder located inside
   your Extensions folder within the System folder.  Select this scheme with the Kaleidoscope 1.7.3 Control Panel.
   And crank those BOSE speakers way up high.
